Hi, let’s talk about studying a career in arts at University of Chile. I’m going to talk from my experience, I study visual arts. This career lasts 4 years and the curriculum has both theoretical and practical subjects. There’s always things that can be change to improve the experience of the students learning and following this, the first thing I would change in the curriculum are the  quantity of hours of theoretical subjects and I would even eliminate some of these that make no sense to me. Another thing that I would change is the length of the career, before it lasted 5 years so the students had more hours of practical subjects and they had more hours of practical subjects therefore more time to occupy their workshops and all the implements, besides learning more techniques. As for the academic load, I feel that it is a lot but because of the theoretical subjects, there are still some professors who think that their branch is the only one in the whole curriculum haha.   Hi everyone, in today’s post I want to talk about what I think sometimes is a taboo topic so first I want to ask you something, have you thought about having a job that’s completely different from what you are currently studying? Because that’s my case and I think I’m not the only one thinking this. I love all kind of arts and the history behind, that’s the main reason I’m studying this degree but when I think in my future I want more that just that and I have other things in mind for me, like for example I dream about having a really cute coffee shop where people can meet, have a good time and share desserts and different drinks. hi blog! The topic of time travel has always been present in our lives, there are movies and tv shows about it and people are constantly talking about it too. Deciding traveling to the past or the future is hard because sometimes you may want to change things that you did but think having the opportunity to know things that will happen years from now when probably we won’t be here any longer, so right now I would like to travel to the future to know different technologies that will appear, but specially I would like to learn from that time and how mankind has evolved, because of that I would say that maybe travel 500 years from now will be fine to find all that, considering how much can happen in all those years. I wonder if I would like what I will see there, will it be a good future? I doubt it due the current situation of the earth, maybe I won’t find anything in a possible 2523, and we just ended up like the world that Disney showed us in Wall-e’s movie.
